Penny Mill, a non-profit, public benefit corporation sponsors two events annually,  its "Community Empowerment Event" in the summer and our  "Bowling Excursion" during the winter break. The purpose of each event is to increase socially disadvantaged persons’ awareness about the many resources in the greater Kansas City Metropolitan area which are available to them and to encourage their constructive use of those resources in order to empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and a better life for themselves and their children.

          Specifically, we are asking your company/organization to join us in achieving this worthwhile goal by serving as an underwriter/supporter of this event.  Underwriters or supporters are asked to contribute one or more of the following:

           1. Monetary donations

           2. Donations of goods and/or services

           3. Host a booth as a participating organization

           4. Serve as a volunteer worker at the event and/or on the planning committee

          Benefits of Underwriting and Supporting: Corporate underwriters will be publicly acknowledged on our website and will be provided positive community visibility in all our media publications if desired.
